Preparation

One glass, three quick steps.

Matcha needs a little water, milk and ice. The bamboo whisk does the rest.

    Measure and sieve

    Two heaped bamboo scoops of DAILY through a fine sieve into a bowl. That keeps it free of lumps.

    A little water, whisk

    About 30 ml of warm water, not boiling, then whisk with the chasen in a zigzag motion until you have a smooth, frothy paste. With little water the matcha stays bold next to milk and ice.

    Pour over ice

    Fill a glass with ice, add 200 ml of cold milk or oat drink, then the matcha on top. Stir, or leave the swirls.

How much matcha do I need for a glass?

According to the preparation note on the pack, 2 g of matcha make one latte. A 50 g pouch therefore lasts for about 25 glasses, the 100 g REFILL for about 50.

How do I store matcha?

Cool, dry and away from light. Close it tightly after opening and use it soon. The best-before date is printed on the pack.

Where do I find the lot number and the best-before date?

On the pack and via the QR code. On the batch lookup page you can look up the lot number.

How does the subscription work?
